Summary: Older style apartment, adequate for our purposes. Nice touches from the owner with a bottle of wine (which we didn't consume, but still nice) and a packet of Tim Tams (which we did consume!). Location is terrific. Old reverse-cycle aircon in living area only, not bedrooms which would have been better. Upright fan in one bedroom. Table-top in the other but nowhere to adequately plug it in without an extension lead. Only power source was behind the bed. Apartment has seen better days but when it's only a short stay, compromise is acceptable. Lovely big towels and nice amenities provided. Host was very prompt with communications and I had clarified the aircon situation prior to finalising booking.
