The home is a Lincoln Log (Grand Summit model) with three bedrooms and three full baths, allowing space and privacy for the entire group. Upstairs has a loft (with twin trundle beds) open to the living room and dining room below, and a master bedroom (king bed) with a full bath featuring a two-seated shower. The main floor has two bedrooms and a full bath. Also on the main floor is a living room with sofa, love seat and a wood stove, a dining room and a modern kitchen with hickory cabinets, granite counter tops and full appliances including a dishwasher and microwave range hood. The living room and dining room have a cathedral ceiling with custom fixed glass panels that allow a beautiful wooded view of the 2.8 acre property. Finished walkout basement with a big screen TV, a sleep sofa bed, over sized recliner, a table for playing cards or board games and a full bathroom. Horseshoes and an outdoor fire pit add to the experience.
Guests need to supply their own towels, pillow cases and fitted sheets. Each bedroom is supplied with blankets and pillows.
The home is currently available for weekly rentals in the summer from Saturday to Saturday.
The property is extremely peaceful and free from any sounds other than nature, yet only 5 miles to the center of Warrensburg or Chestertown. 20 minutes to either Gore Mountain or Lake George Village and 1 hour from Lake Placid.
The home is located in Green Mansions and guests enjoy membership to the Tripp Lake Beach & Tennis Club. The beach is for the private use by members and their guests and the association provides chairs, umbrellas, canoes, kayaks, rowboats and paddle boats at no additional charge.
