Bright, sun drenched house with ocean views on Two sides. Two outdoor dining areas. All corner bedrooms with windows on 2 or 3 sides allowing maximum cool ocean breezes.
This charming cape cottage is located in heart of Old Village. The property has a long rental history with most clients returning year after year ( some for 25 years ! ) There is abundant outdoor space for your enjoyment. Stroll down the driveway to the Holway Street beach. Meander around the light house and quaint Old Village. It is less than a ten minute walk to town with shopping, restaurants, band concerts, etc.
The main living area includes a large sunroom with sensational views of Chatham Harbor. There are windows and sliders on three sides. You can watch the boating activities in Chatham Harbor or enjoy the large flat screen tv and sound system. This is the perfect room for family activities or even a small party. Adjacent to the sunroom and accessible via French Doors is the living room and dining area with easy open flow. A Sonos system and new Smart Tv are here as well. The fully equipped kitchen with new appliances opens to the dining area.
Also on the first floor are two bedrooms. One has a queen size bed and the other twin beds. Each bedroom has its own AC system to keep you cool. There is a full bath with tub and shower on the first floor. Just off the first floor hallway are the washer and drier.
Step downstairs off the hallway to a marvelous entertainment center with large flat screen TV, CD player, BlueRay and Stereo Surround Sound. The area is much appreciated by young people, their parents and sports fans alike.
On the second level are two corner bedrooms with each again having its independently operated AC system. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, new smart TV, abundant closets and a desk for writing or working. The other bedroom at the opposite end of the hall has a trundle bed with two single size mattresses. Along the hallway separating the two bedrooms is a full bath with tub and shower.
Access to the sensational roof deck is via the south facing upstairs bedroom. The views from this deck are equal to any on Cape Cod. The deck is equipped with a full size round teak table with chairs as well as chaise lounges and side tables. You are guaranteed to spend many memorable hours here viewing the sunrise, observing boating activities, watching the sunset and viewing the moon over Chatham Harbor.
Off the dining area on first floor is a flagstone deck equipped with a gas grill and two dining tables for eating alfresco. Chatham Harbor activity can be witnessed from this deck as well as from the adjacent south facing lawn with chaise lounges and chairs. There is an outdoor shower near the deck.
During the high season preference is given to weekly rentals on a Saturday to Saturday basis.
