Located two miles outside of Brooklin center, home of the Wooden Boat School, the house and boat house have stunning easterly views of Blue Hill Bay and the hills of Mount Desert. A lighthouse sits a mile off shore and is the focal point for viewing. Boats frequently sail in front of the house on the way into Blue Hill and Beyond.
The main house house is surrounded by gardens and a deck that wraps from front to back. On the first floor there is a living room with fireplace, bath with a shower, washer and dryer, bedroom room with views and a full kitchen. On the second floor there are two connecting bedrooms with a full size bed and three twin beds. On the shore sits the boathouse, completed in 2000, with a living room, kitchenette, full bath and loft for sleeping. The front window looks out over the water, just 10 feet from the high tide mark, but set up on granite slabs. There are also full perennial gardens around the boathouse. Between the boathouse and main house there is a croquet field for playing lawn games and a hammock for relaxing.
