Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: On the positive side, the washroom was clean and the location is excellent, just behind Jalan Alor. Also, the second staff member (I think he works there, not the owner) was very kind. When I checked out at 4 AM in the rain, he gave me an umbrella without me even asking, which I really appreciated. Overall, considering the price, it’s okay — but the cleanliness and the owner’s attitude need major improvement.

Negative: I stayed here recently and had a mixed experience. The bedsheet, comforter and pillow covers were dirty, and I could clearly see hair on them. When I politely requested the hotel owner to change them, he insisted they were already changed and spoke very rudely, even telling me to cancel the hotel — knowing I had come from far and was tired. After requesting repeatedly, he only changed the pillow cover, and even that didn't look very clean.

Summary: Decent location, but cleanliness and attitude were disappointing
