Excellent house for a family getaway or for a short stay! A classic 1863 northern Maine farmhouse with rustic charm. The house has beautiful property with spectacular views and a relaxing atmosphere. It is also available for DIY wedding venues.
The house has 5 BR w/2 1/2 bath with an updated kitchen, granite counter tops and lots of farmhouse charm. Features large comfortable family room with metal ceiling, pellet stove, newly renovated elegant dining room with exposed original beams and original refinished hardwood floors throughout first floor. 1st floor bedroom & renovated bath with a separate laundry room. Big enclosed front porch with beautiful sunset views. Awesome views with many apple trees on the property.
The house is located approximately 300 yards from the main ATV & snowmobile trail. I was able to get an exclusive rental agreement through a local shop. They will deliver and pickup ATV/snowmobiles from the house for guests who are interested in having a great time on the trails. ATV's will be available in the spring of 2019. The Meduxnekeag river is within short walking distance from the house for excellent trout fishing. Mars Hill ski facility is a short drive away.
