Come and enjoy this waterfront home nestled on 8 acres of land on beautiful Lake Oconee. Located in Greensboro, GA, only 80 miles east of Atlanta, 40 miles southeast of Athens (home of the Georgia Bulldogs) and just 15 minutes from both historic downtown Greensboro and Madison. This property is in a great location within White Oaks Planation with a great view to match!
Upon entering the long and wooded driveway, you will feel the privacy and tranquility of this majestic lake getaway. The main floor has an open floor plan with a full eat-in-kitchen opening up into a sunny living room as well as a formal dining room. A wall of windows allows views from almost every seat in the house.It also includes the main bedroom, powder room, and laundry room. The large sunny main bedroom has French doors opening out onto the patio overlooking the lake. It has a king size bed, walk-in closet and a large private bathroom with double vanity and dual head shower.
The upper level has a large great room with vaulted ceilings and is great for watching movies, playing games, reading a book or just relaxing. The great room also contains a pool table, ping pong table top and air hockey table. Four bedrooms (1 king, 2 queen, and 4 twin (2 bunk bed sets – for children only)) and two full baths on upper level. Both bathrooms join all bedrooms in Jack and Jill style, allowing for privacy. This home can accommodate more than one family or just a couple looking for a getaway to relax.
Additional features include private max dock with extra boat cleats for your boat, swimming area, and private boat launch within subdivision. Enjoy the use of one of our water toys including 1 two-person kayak, 2 one-person kayaks, 1 two-person canoe, 1 child's stand up paddle board and 2 adult paddle boards. Home has a large covered patio with outdoor furniture, property has access to Oconee National Forest trail head for hiking, basketball hoop, one acre yard for playing (great for a family football game!) and big views of lake across back of home. Service for twelve (12) including linens for all beds, bath towels and dinnerware. There is plenty of space to spread out. This home accommodates 8 adults and 4 children comfortably.
