Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: In a quieter location, roughly 30minute drive due to traffic into town centre but we found this pleasant as we did not want to be in a busy area. Host was lovely and relaxed, restaurant on site was delicious. Host offered to arrange tours, cooking classes, yoga for us, but we had already prebooked activities unfortunately so could not try. Air con worked well, and pool was great, and so were the rice fields. Very relaxing accommodation.

Negative: We liked all of the local dogs and they were very friendly but if you are afraid of dogs please be aware there are quite a few in Bali and most households have pets which roam freely. The open bathroom may not be for everyone. It was decorated very nicely, but every time you had a shower lots of centipedes would come out of the rocks and try to escape which was a bit unnerving at times!

Summary: Relaxing, peaceful stay in ubud outside of main centre. Would visit again.
