Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and made both check in and check out very easy. I arrived much earlier than the scheduled check in time and was still accommodated with only a very short wait. The location is excellent, with plenty of breakfast spots, and shops within easy walking distance. It was also very easy to order a scooter using Grab or Gojek for places that were a bit too far to walk. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean and well maintained, with good blockout curtains. The property itself is lovely and a great bonus was the downstairs area with tables and a bench suitable for working as it had power points for charging devices, and a relaxing outlook over the pool. Very convenient if you need to do some work without leaving the property. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to other travellers.

Negative: The only minor negative was some nearby construction, which made it a little noisier during the day if you were trying to work from the property. If you were out and about, it was not an issue at all, and the construction did not continue at night, so it did not impact sleep. This also seems like a temporary issue. The other thing to be aware of is that the pool is a shared pool. This was not a problem at all and there were no issues with availability of lounge chairs, but if you are specifically looking for a private pool, it is worth noting that the pool area is shared and is located along the main walkway into the property.
