Positive: If I could give it a 10+, I absolutely would. I’ve stayed in many hostels, but this one is easily in my top three—actually, let’s call it my number one. You’re welcomed with genuine warmth, and you immediately notice that every detail has been thoughtfully considered. Everything is clearly explained. Everyone gets a large locker at reception, a personal safe by the bed, a power outlet next to the bed, and a curtain for privacy. The air conditioning works well, and in the evening, wooden sunshades are lowered for those sleeping on the first floor. Breakfast is included, as well as coffee, tea and water. Every time you pass by, you feel the calm, the cleanliness, and nothing is ever too much when you ask a question. The smoothies and banana pancakes are absolutely delicious. And… they clean your room or make your bed. Always respectful, always spotless If you work remotely or love Joya, this is definitely the right place for you. Upstairs, there’s a workspace with a view that’s honestly breathtaking. I booked two nights and left for Java in the evening on my scooter. After five days, I messaged them again to book one more night to break up my trip to Denpasar—and got a reply within two minutes. I’d say: book it! You really won’t regret it. Just look at all the reviews :)
